A rough starting point — not a substitute for the care label or your machine manual.
Single 6kg · Double 8kg · King 10kg · Super king 12kg+
Go larger for thick, high-tog or feather/down duvets.
These are deliberately cautious starting points. A lightweight duvet may fit a smaller machine; a puffy duvet can need much more space. The dry duvet should have room to move.
